Minerva Police reports

On May 11, 6:42 p.m. police received a report for panhandling from a business on E. Lincolnway. Charles Earley, Alliance, was charged with trespass. Information was obtained for a report and Earley is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On May 12, 9:22 a.m. police arrested Kevin Depalmo, Minerva, on a warrant out of Alliance Municipal Court for failure to appear for driving under the influence and contempt. Information was obtained for a report. Depalmo was transported to Stark County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.

On May 12, 4:15 p.m. police arrested James Willison, Minerva, on a warrant out of Columbiana County for failure to appear for operate vehicle under the influence. Information was obtained for a report and Willison was turned over to Columbiana County.

On May 13, 3:58 p.m. police received a report for an intoxicated subject at a business on E. Lincolnway. Donald Fletcher, Homeworth, was arrested for felony operating a vehicle under the influence and open container. Information was obtained for a report. Fletcher was transported to Stark County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.

On May 13, 5:12 p.m. police arrested Ryan Swiney, Malvern, on a warrant out of Alliance Municipal Court for failure to appear for failure to reinstate and improper display. Information was obtained for a report. Swiney posted bond and was released. Swiney is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.

On May 14, 4:28 p.m. while on a traffic stop police charged Timothy Browning, Carrollton, with driving under the influence, display of plates and open container. Information was obtained for a report and Browning is scheduled to appear in Carroll County Court.

On May 14, 5:58 p.m. police received a report for fraud from a business on Alliance Rd. Information was obtained for a report and sent to the prosecutor's office for review.

On May 14, 9:24 p.m. police received a report for a dog bite at a residence on Euclid Ave. Information was obtained for a report and sent to the Carroll County dog warden for review.

On May 16, 9:04 a.m. Drew Ecrement, North Canton, posted bond on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for no operator's license and expired registration. Information was obtained for a report and the warrant canceled.

On May 16, 11:43 p.m. police arrested Michael Smith, Minerva, on a felony warrant out of Carroll County for cocaine possession. Information was obtained for report and Smith was turned over to Carroll County.

On May 17, 12:21 p.m. police received a report of identity theft from a resident on Kennel Rd. Information was obtained for a report.

On May 19, 11:57 a.m. police arrested Cory Robison, Minerva, on a warrant out of Alliance Municipal Court for failure to appear for hearing on failure to reinstate and contempt charges. Information was obtained for a report. Robison was transported to Stark County Jail and will appear in Alliance Municipal Court.

On May 19, 12:14 p.m. police received a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on W. Plain St. Information was obtained for a report.

On May 19, 2:45 p.m. a tablet that was found on Arbor Road was turned over to the police department. Information was obtained for a report and the property was later returned to the owner.

On May 20, 1:00 a.m. police received a report of criminal mischief at a residence on Park St. Information was obtained for a report.

On May 20, 3:18 p.m. police arrested Jason Rohrer, Alliance, on a warrant out of Carroll County for failure to appear non support. Information was obtained for a report and Rohrer was turned over to Carroll County Sheriff's Department.

On May 20, 4:17 p.m. police received a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on W. Line St. Information was obtained for a report.

On May 20, 6:10 p.m. police received a report of public indecency at a business on Valley St. Police stopped the vehicle and charged David Davidson, Minerva, for public indecency. Also charged was Gary Ziemer, Minerva, for driving under the influence and failure to comply. Information was obtained for a report. Both parties were transported to Carroll County Jail and will appear in Carroll County Court.

On May 20, 9:14 p.m. while on a traffic stop police charged Jason Bentley, Malvern, with driving under the influence, driving under suspension and rear plate light. Information was obtained for a report and Bentley is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.

On May 21, 6:27 p.m. police received a report of a theft from a business on E. Lincolnway. Arrested was Robin Hirt, Minerva, for theft and Robert Williams, Minerva, on a warrant out of Pennsylvania for a parole violation. Information was obtained for a report. Hirt is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court. Williams was transported to Stark County Jail to await transfer to Pennsylvania.

On May 22, 10:21 a.m. police received a report of unauthorized credit card charges from a resident on N. Market St. Information was obtained for a report.

Accidents

On May 12, 7:26 p.m. a vehicle operated by Elissa Keister, Carrollton struck a vehicle owned by Wayne Vanfossen, Minerva on S. West St.

No injuries and light damage reported.
