Mercy Medical Center of Carroll County will offer low-cost blood screenings on Friday, Jan. 22, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., at 125 Canton Road, Carrollton.
The center will be offering total cholesterol screening for $2, glucose screening (blood sugar) for $2, and lipid profiles (total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL and LDL) for $8.
No appointment is necessary and a 12-hour fast is recommended for more accurate results.

These low-cost blood screenings are offered the second Friday of each month.
The Carroll County facility boasts a Statcare Immediate Care Center, work health and safety services, laboratory, physical therapy, cardiac diagnostics, exercise programs, same-day surgery testing, bone density testing, and radiology/ultrasound services.
