The Carroll County Farm Bureau will hold its annual Farm - City Lunch with registration starting at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 13, at the Church of Christ, 353 Moody Ave. S.W., Carrollton. The featured speaker will be Chuck Pearson.
Pearson's talk is entitled, "Trees -- the Renewable Resource." The lunch will consist of soup, sandwich and salad bar.
In addition to the lunch and Pearson's presentation, the event will feature, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. Free-will donations will be accepted.
"Tried and True" cookbooks will be available at the luncheon for $10. Anyone wishing to attend should make reservations by calling the Carroll County Farm Bureau at 888-265-2090 or by e-mailing tcfarmbureau@verizon.net by April 1.
