Carroll County Drug Arrests

* On Feb. 16, Jamie M. Grogg, 19, and Robert E. Norman III, 27, both of 215 N. Grant St., Minerva, were arrested on felony charges.

Grogg was taken into custody without incident at her residence on drug-trafficking charges. She is facing one felony-five count of trafficking in marijuana, as well as one felony-four count of trafficking in drugs.

Norman was taken into custody at a separate residence in Minerva on a felony-three count of retaliation against a person or persons related to the above drug-trafficking case.

The drug charges are the result of an undercover investigation into the sale of narcotics in the village of Minerva.

Carroll County Sheriff Dale Williams said this investigation was conducted by the Carroll County Narcotics Unit, as well as the Minerva Police Department . Several more arrests will follow.

* On Feb. 19, Jesse T. Beaber, 20, of 122 Bonnieview St., Minerva, was arrested on felony drug-trafficking charges.

Beaber was taken into custody at his residence without incident, after an arrest warrant was issued. He is facing two felony-five counts of trafficking in marijuana. His vehicle has also been seized by authorities and may be subject to forfeiture.

The drug charges are the result of an undercover investigation into the sale of narcotics in the village of Minerva.

Sheriff Dale Williams said this lengthy investigation was conducted by his narcotics unit, as well as the Minerva Police Department. He expects more arrests will follow in the coming weeks.
