Feb. 13 at 1:49 a.m., police received a report of a vehicle blocking Wilson Drive. The vehicle was removed from the road.
Feb. 13 at 7:29 a.m., police received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on N. Market Street. Charges were filed against Sammi Brown, Minerva, for theft of motor vehicle. A warrant was issued for Brown.
Feb. 14 at 2:04 a.m., police received a report of a fight at a business on S. Market Street. Arrested was Jeremy Thomas, Minerva, on a warrant out of Alliance Municipal Court for failure to pay fines and costs on driving under suspension. Thomas is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.
Feb. 14 at 7:16 a.m., police arrested Marlon Newman, Canton, on a warrant out of Alliance Municipal Court for failure to pay fines and costs on theft. Newman was transported to Stark County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.
Feb. 14 at 6:29 p.m., police received a report of found property of a credit card on E. Lincoln Way. The card was turned over to the issuing bank.
Feb. 14 at 10:09 p.m., police received a report of a theft of personal property at a business on Valley Street. Charged was a juvenile with theft and another juvenile with receiving stolen property. Both juveniles will appear in Carroll County Juvenile Court.
Feb. 15 at 12:16 a.m., while on a traffic stop, police charged Justin Strait, East Canton, for possession of marijuana and headlights required. Strait is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
Feb. 16, at 11:20 a.m., police arrested Jamie Grogg, Minerva, on a warrant out of Carroll County for two counts of trafficking in drugs. Also arrested was Robert Norman, Minerva, for retaliation. Grogg and Norman were transported to Carroll County Jail.
Feb. 16 at 5:44 p.m., while investigating a traffic complaint, police charged Shawn Clark, Waynesburg, with driving under suspension. Clark is schedule to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
Feb. 18, at 5:53 p.m., police received a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on N. West Street. A report was faxed to the prosecutor's office for review.
Accidents
Feb. 13 at 1:30 p.m., Gregory Kerns, Minerva, reported that his vehicle was parked in the Minerva Public Library lot when a grey Plymouth van, bearing partial registration KG319, and operated by an older white male with a white beard and glasses, backed into his vehicle and then left the scene. There were light, non-functional damages.
Feb. 15 at 2:17 p.m., a vehicle operated by Joy Mills Jr., East Sparta, was backing from a parking space in the 200 block of N. Market Street and struck a vehicle owned by Lawrence L. Yator Jr., Bergholz, causing non-functional damages.
