Minerva Police Report

On July 19,12:42 a.m., police received a juvenile complaint on High Street. Charged was a juvenile for Curfew. Information was obtained for a report and the juvenile will appear in Stark County Juvenile Court.

On July 19, 2:57 a.m., police received a juvenile complaint on West Lincoln Way. Charged were six juveniles for Curfew. Information was obtained for a report and the juveniles will appear in Stark County Juvenile Court.

On July 20, 9:20 p.m., police received a report of criminal mischief in Bicentennial Park. Information was obtained for a report.

On July 23, 4:01 p.m., police received a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle parked on Bonnieview Avenue. Information was obtained for a report.

On July 23, 4:57 p.m., police received a report of a theft that occurred in Bicentennial Park. Information was obtained for a report.

On July 24, 10:45 p.m., police received a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Grant Boulevard. Information was obtained for a report.

On July 25, 3:02 a.m., police arrested David Dycus, of Minerva on warrants out of Minerva Mayor's Court for Failure to serve jail time on Theft, Drug Abuse and Drug Paraphernalia charges. Information was obtained for a report and Dycus is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On July 25, 3:45 p.m., police received a report of found property of a gift card on Murray Avenue. Property is being held at the Minerva Police Departmet to be claimed by the owner.

On July 27, 1:22 p.m., police received a juvenile complaint on Adelaide Street. Information was obtained for a report.

On July 27, 2:23 p.m., while on a traffic stop police charged Christie Loy, of Minerva for Driving Under Suspension, Seat Belt and Unsafe Vehicle. Information was obtained for a report and Loy is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On July 29, 7:17 a.m., police received a report of a theft of property at a residence on West Lincoln Way. Information was obtained for a report.

On July 30, 11:31 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle parked on East Line Street. Information was obtained for a report.

Accident Report

On July 28, 8:35 a.m., a vehicle operated by Walter Lange, of Magnolia, was backing from a private drive on the 200 block of Scranton Boulevard and struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Connie Morris, of Minerva, causing non-functional damages. No injuries reported. Lange was cited for Improper Backing.
