On Aug. 19 at 5:24 p.m., police received a report of harassment from a residence on McKinley Avenue. Information was obtained for a report.
On Aug. 20 at 6:17 p.m., police received a report of found property of a travel caddy on North Market Street. The property is being held at the Minerva Police Department to be claimed by the owner.
On Aug. 21 at 5:08 p.m., police received a report of a civil matter at a residence on East First Street. Information was obtained for a report.
On Aug. 22 at 3:46 p.m., police received a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Valley Street. Information was obtained for a report and faxed to the prosecutor's office for review.
On Aug. 22 at 9:12 p.m., police received a report of an assault that occurred on North Market Street. Charged were Adam Gunn, Minerva, for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damaging, and Christopher Johnson for Disorderly Conduct and Assault. Information was obtained for a report and both are scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
On Aug. 19 at 11:36 a.m., police arrested Lawrence Plavka, Minerva, on a warrant out of Canfield Police Department for Contempt of Court. Information was obtained for a report and Plavka was transferred to the custody of Canfield Police Department.
On Aug. 23 at 6:33 p.m., police received a report of found property of several purses in Bicentennial Park. The property is being held at the Minerva Police Department to be claimed by owners.
On Aug. 24 at 1:50 p.m., police received a nuisance complaint from the service director for property on South Liberty Street. Charged was Michael Owens, Minerva, for Litter. Information was obtained for a report and Owens is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
On Aug. 25 at 3:21 p.m., police received a report of harassment that occurred in Municipal Park. Information was obtained for a report and faxed to the prosecutor's office for review.
On Aug. 25 at 3:18 p.m., police received a nuisance complaint from service director for property on Thomas Street. Charged was Malinda Payne, Minerva, for Litter. Information was obtained for a report and Payne is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
On Aug. 25 at 5:35 p.m., police received a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle while in Municipal Park. Information was obtained for a report.
Accidents
On Aug. 19 at 8:30 a.m., a vehicle operated by Douglas Hawley, of Minerva, was eastbound on West Line Street at Grant Street when it was struck by a vehicle operated by Tonya Starkey, of Minerva, causing non-functional damages and no injuries.
On Aug. 19 at 11:34 a.m., a vehicle operated by Ralph Stupka, of Canfield, was stopped in traffic when it was struck by a vehicle operated by Paul Harsh, of Carrollton, who had started backing to let another vehicle by. Non-functional damages and no injuries reported.
