On Jan. 20, 10:02 a.m., Carrie Workman, of Minerva, posted bond on her warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for Failure to Appear on Expired Plate charge. Information was obtained for a report and the warrant was canceled.

On Jan. 23, 1:57 p.m., bond was posted on Robin Franks, Alliance, on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for Failure to Pay Fines and Costs on Expired Plate charge. Information was obtained for a report and the warrant was canceled.

On Jan. 23, 9:59 p.m., while on a traffic stop, police arrested Joshua Bowersox, Minerva, for Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and Loud Exhaust. Information was obtained for a report and Bowersox is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
On Jan. 24, 7:39 a.m., police received a report of found property of a change purse on Short Street. Property is being held at the Minerva Police Department to be claimed by the owner.
On Jan. 24, 12:16 p.m., police assisted Columbiana County Sheriff's Department in arresting David Wadsworth Jr., Hanoverton, for Domestic Violence. Information was obtained for a report.
On Jan. 24, 2:48 p.m., while on a traffic stop, police arrested Laura Guido, Summitville, for No Driver's License, Expired Plates and Marked Lanes. Information was obtained for a report and Guido is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
On Jan. 25, 6:51 p.m. police arrested Richard Arkenburgh, Minerva, on a warrant out of Stark County for Failure to Appear. Information was obtained for a report and Arkenburgh was turned over to Stark County.
On Jan. 25, 8:36 p.m., police checking a suspicious person behind a business on North Main Street. Police charged a juvenile for Possession of Drugs and Obstructing Official Business. Information was obtained for a report and the juvenile will appear in Stark County Juvenile Court.
On Jan. 25, 10:20 p.m., police received a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Grant Boulevard. Arrested was Terry Bentley Jr, Minerva, for two counts of Domestic Violence. Information was obtained for a report and Bentley was transported to Stark County Jail. Bentley is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.
On Jan. 26, 10:17 a.m., police received a report of harassment from a residence on Murray Avenue. Information was obtained for a report.
On Jan. 26, 2:56 p.m., police received a report of threats that occurred at a business on East Lincoln Way. Information was obtained for a report.
Accident Reports
On Jan. 23, at 3:46 p.m., a vehicle being operated by George M. Zwick, Minerva, was stopped on East Lincoln Way in the 700 block waiting to turn and was struck in the rear by a vehicle being operated by Joshua W. Boyd, Minerva, who was travelling eastbound and failed to stop. Non-functional damages and no injuries were reported. Boyd was cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead and is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
On Jan. 25, at 5:50 p.m., a vehicle being operated by Jamie E. Fitzpatrick, Carrollton, was travelling westbound on U.S. Route 30 and failed to stop, striking the rear end of a vehicle being operated by Rebecca A. Geis, North Canton, who was stopped in traffic. Functional damage and no injuries were reported. Fitzpatrick was cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead and is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
