Minerva Police Report

On March 8, 4:29 p.m. police received a report for a civil incident that occurred at a business on Alliance Rd. Information was obtained for a report.

On March 10, 3:37 p.m. police arrested Cody Nitz, Canton, on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for drug abuse. Information was obtained for a report and Nitz is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On March 11, 7:42 a.m. while on a traffic stop police arrested Ashleigh Wyatt, Minerva, on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for driving under suspension. Information was obtained for a report. Wyatt posted bond and the warrant was canceled.

On March 11, 1:55 p.m. police received a report for a domestic dispute from a residence on East St. Information was obtained for a report.

On March 12, 7:37 p.m. police arrested Charles Stout, Malvern, on a warrant out of Jackson Township Police Department for theft. Information was obtained for a report and Stout was turned over to Jackson Township Police Department.

On March 13, 7:25 a.m. police arrested Michael Mallette Jr., Minerva, on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for disorderly conduct. Information was obtained for a report and Mallette is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On March 13, 10:01 a.m. police received a report for a theft from a residence on W. Line St. Information was obtained for a report.

On March 13, 5:41 p.m. while on a traffic stop police charged Zachary Collins, Sherrodsville, with driving under suspension rear view mirror obstruction, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Information was obtained for a report and Collins is scheduled to appear in Carroll County Court.

On March 14, 9:12 p.m. police received a report for a sex offense from a residence on W. Plain St. Information was obtained for a report.

On March 15, 4:17 p.m. police arrested Joshua Cline, Minerva, on warrants out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for no operator's license and carrying certain weapons prohibited. Information was obtained for a report and Cline is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

Accidents

On March 11, 7:43 p.m. a vehicle operated by John Harple, Canton, struck a vehicle operated by Jeanann Barringer, Minerva on E. Lincolnway. No injuries and light damage reported. Harple was cited for assured clear distance and is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On March 12, 3:13 p.m. a vehicle operated by Jeffrey Ramsey, Paris, drove off with nozzle in vehicle at a business on E. Lincolnway. No injuries and light damage reported.

On March 13, 3:34 p.m. a vehicle operated by a juvenile struck a vehicle operated by Aarenda Crater, Minerva, on E. Lincolnway. No injuries and light damage reported. Juvenile was cited for assured clear distance and is scheduled to appear in Stark County Juvenile Court.

On March 17, 8:05 a.m. a vehicle operated by Lee Himes, Berlin Center, backed into a vehicle operated by Brooke Burkett, Minerva, on Bridge St. No injuries and light damage reported. Hines was cited for improper backing and is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.
