The Minerva Public Library at 677 Lynnwood Drive will celebrate March with upcoming programs for kids.
Friday, March 3, brings the Little Builders program at 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers ages 1 to 5 can build and play with a variety of building sets including wooden blocks, DUPLO, Mega Bloks, Bristle blocks, and the brand-new SQUIGZ. A few dinosaurs, wild animals, and, of course, books, will round out the indoor play time.
Space is limited for this child and caregiver event. Call 330-868-4101 to register in advance for Little Builders. The library will even give caregivers a reminder call the morning of the program so they don't miss out.
Book Beginnings takes places each Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 0-3 with a parent or caregiver. Meanwhile, more independent children ages 3 to 5 can share in Story Time.
Both programs feature books, songs and other activities designed to introduce kids to the enjoyment of reading. The programs are offered all year, and registration is not required.
