Sunshine Circle Guild conducts business

Sunshine Circle Guild of Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville held their monthly meeting on Monday, April 10, in the downstairs social room with only four members present.

President Kay Flanagan was hostess, conducted business and was program chairman. Secretary Martha Haubert gave her report which was approved. There was no treasurers report. The committee books were updated. Mission-giving for March went to the Ostmans with New Tribes Mission, and April for the churches Easter Egg Hunt.

For the program, President Flanagan read from the book "The Compassionate Plan of Grace."

Willis attends Canton concert

Jean Willis of Robertsville was a April 8 supper guest of her cousin Randy and Monica Geib in Canton.

That evening they attended the concert of "A Chorus for Cause" at the Westbrook Park United Methodist Church in Canton, for the benefit of Canton Children's Dyslexia Center, accompanied by the Geibs grandchildren Kaitlyn and Eli Krach. Their mother, Kristin Krach was a member of the "Harmony Ringers" Musicians Making a Difference.

The evening ended with enjoying a variety of ice cream at Taggarts.
