Robertsville Grange joins Stark County Grange Banquet

The 64th annual Stark County Grange banquet was held Wednesday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m. at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Navarre with 85 in attendance.

Judy Carrick of Pike Grange gave the welcome. Presentation of flags was by Lexington Grange Juniors and Ara Houck of Hamilton with Pledge of Allegiance. Larry Emery of Plain Grange gave the invocation. A Swiss steak dinner was served by Beach City members of church.

Carrick introduced the banquet committee. Ed Cochran, Stark County deputy, introduced the guest and state grange officers.

The program was Duane Carlson, who played piano and had members "Name that Tune" on movies from the 1920s and more.

Door prizes were given, and several members won those from Robertsville Grange. They were Gerry Lotze, Ruth Lemann, Donna Mahoney, Rich Mahoney, Pat Lautzenheiser, Mary Creighton and Bernie Bresson.

Eight Subordinate Masters were present.

The evening closed with "Blest be the Tie that Binds."
