The May meeting of Minerva's Entre Nous Club was held at the Great Trail Golf Course with Cathy Fry and Laurie McClelland sharing hostess responsibilities.
Following a luncheon of delicious salads and desserts, Fry introduced Patti Hostetler, the director of Hannah's House 119. This is a non-profit organization aimed at supporting, mentoring and connecting with young people to help them rise above their circumstances, make a better life for themselves and become contributing citizens in their communities.
These young people may be youth aging out of foster care, sex-trafficked individuals, young mothers, the impoverished, abused or neglected. Hannah's House currently has five caring individuals on staff, who along with 40 volunteers, see as many as 200 young people a week.

The group thanked Hostetler for her work and presented a check for $100 to her.
Officers for the coming year were elected: President, Diane Evans; Vice President, Liz Smith; Treasurer, Ruth Orrell; and Secretary, Pat Miller. Hostesses for the coming year were assigned.
The June meeting will be held at the Hart Mansion with Dinah Safron and Joan Henninger serving as hostesses. This final luncheon of the year will include a fashion show provided by Lingenfelter Brill of Alliance.
