Minerva ElderCare has announced that it is now a member of the AultCare and PrimeTime Health Plan.
According to Administrator Aaron Hetrick, Minerva ElderCare can provide up to seven-day-a-week therapy for AultCare and PrimeTime recipients.
"We have all the specialized equipment needed to deliver optimal outcomes," Hetrick said, noting the facility specializes in short-term therapy, complex wound care, IVs and other complex nursing measures. "We pride ourselves on doing whatever it takes to meet the needs of our residents."
Minerva ElderCare offers long-term care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, including in-patient and out-patient physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and also accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most health-insurance coverage.
"Come check out our recent renovations and see the personalized, loving care that can only happen in a smaller facility with a dedicated, long-term staff," Hetrick said. "If people haven't been here for years, it's not the facility they remember."
In the last five years, the facility has added a spacious therapy gym and a secure outdoor courtyard, complete with fire pit, covered porch, porch swings, and waist-height raised beds where residents can garden during the summer months.
Additionally, Hetrick noted the lighting has been updated throughout the facility to brighten the rooms and hallways.
"We have high resident satisfaction. The residents love it here," he said, noting that due to Minerva ElderCare's small size, residents and staff develop "a family feel."
Hetrick credits the facility's staff, many of whom have been with Minerva ElderCare for 10-20 years, with the high-quality care provided.
Facility tours and more information are available by contacting Hetrick or Pauline Pitre.
Minerva ElderCare is located at 1035 E Lincoln Way and can be reached at 330-868-4148, or 24 hours a day on the new Rapid Referral line at 330-787-4884.
