The Carroll County Farm Bureau will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 31, at the FFA Camp Muskingum, 3266 Dyewood Road, SW, Carrollton.
This year's theme is "I Am Farm Bureau." Pontoon rides will be given at 5 and 5:45 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Two pontoons will disembark for the first 28 people at those times.
At 6 p.m., there will be a meet-the-candidates reception. The dinner and meeting will start at 7 p.m. with a family-style baked steak and fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls and dessert. The cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children.
During the business meeting, members will elect their board members, delegates and vote on 2011 policies, as well. The organization will also honor its Hall of Fame recipients and give away door prizes.
Reservations are due Tuesday, Aug. 24. There will be handicapped parking available with a shuttle.
