Carter Lumber opens new kitchen and bath showrooms

The new showrooms at Carter Lumber, in Louisville, show off complete kitchen and bath packages available for any budget. The revitalized more-than-2,000-square-feet area is full of beautiful ideas for home improvement, including numerous quartz and granite countertops.

Dave Horst is the Carter Lumber kitchen and bath design specialist with more than 30 years of experience. He urges folks to stop in and check out the great products and reasonable prices available at Carter.

"We can compete with anybody," said Horst.

Wood-mod, Kraftmaid and Merrillat brands of cabinetry are offered. Countertops available at Carter include laminate, Corian and Cambria.

Mansfield plumbing products, as well as Bertch vanities and Sterling tubs and showers, are on display. According to store Manager Randy Shanklin, vanities can be purchased pre-made or specially ordered.

In addition to the bath and kitchen renovationsproducts available, Carter Lumber can meet everyday hardware needs. The helpful staff can assist customers with plumbing, electrical and heating products.

Carter Lumber, a privately owned chain, was established by Warren E. Carter and T. Neil Jones in 1932 and has become one of the top building-materials dealers in the country. There are more than 160 Carter Lumber stores in 10 states including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

Store hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening appointments can be arranged by calling 330-875-3327.
