The Paris Township Board of Trustees agreed Feb. 15 to pay for repairs to a pickup truck damaged by the one-ton truck while snowplowing.
Road Superintendent Dan Stowe reported salting and gritting of township roads continues, as does plowing.
Dave Viola of Bartley Ambulance told the trustees Bartley Ambulance may be joining a group of other ambulance companies to help reduce its cost of operating. The other companies are Stark Summit and Smith Ambulance. Viola told the trustees the reason for forming the group is that Medicaid does not pay as much for ambulance runs.
