April 2 is deadline to order fish from SWCD

The Carroll County Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting orders until April 2 for its annual fish sale.

The fish will be delivered April 6 at 9:30 a.m. at the SWCD office, 613 N. High St., Carrollton. All orders must be picked up at this time.

Buyers must also bring their own container filled with pond water.

The SWCD is offering eight- to 14-inch white amur, $14; four- to six-inch channel catfish, 75 cents; two- to four-inch perch, 75 cents; two- to four-inch largemouth bass, 75 cents; two- to four-inch blue gill, 75 cents; and one- to three-inch fathead minnows (100), $6.

For more information about the fish and the sale, contact the Carroll County SWCD by calling 330-627-9852. Payments must be made at the time of order. There will be no refunds on orders not picked up.
