Stark County Treasurer Gary Zeigler is removed from office, following a special quasi judicial meeting held this afternoon, which involved witnesses and presentations from legal counsel. Deputy Treasurer Jaime Allbritain was appointed to serve as interim county treasurer, until the Democratic party (of which Zeigler is affiliated) has time to hold a meeting and decide on an appointee of its choice.
