Free food distribution set Aug. 27

On Friday, Aug. 27, St. Paul's Lutheran Church will give away free food to residents living in the Minerva School District.

Registration will be at 8 a.m., followed by the distribution 9-11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 515 E. Line St., Minerva.

Food and household items are bought, transported and offered through generous giving by the people of St. Paul's church. The volunteers will be there to help residents.

Eligibility is based on federal- and state-funded programs, the same as the Salvation Army.
