Marijuana plants seized in Carroll County's eradication program

Published:

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has conducted a two-day marijuana-eradication operation throughout the county and seized numerous marijuana plants from various locations.

Charges are expected to be filed in one case, with possible additional charges to follow on another case.

Some of the plants found at one location were close to eight feet tall.

Sheriff Dale Williams reports the investigations are ongoing and that his office had seized a number of marijuana plants this summer from both outdoor and indoor growing operations.
