Malvern Scouts plan dinner, auction

Published:

Malvern Boy Scout Troop 155 will be conducting its ninth annual spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Saturday, Feb. 4, 4-7 p.m., at the St. Francis Xavier Hall, 125 Carrollton St. N, Malvern.

Dinners will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Children's dinners are $4 and adult dinners are $6. Tickets are available at the door or from any Scout. Carry-out dinners are available.

Those who dine in can participate in the silent auction. A variety of items have been donated for the event, including a Pittsburgh Steelers rug from Hosner Carpet One Floor and Home. Each year, the event and auction grows bigger and better, and this year is no exception.

The auction ends at 7 p.m. and the items will go home with the highest bidder.

Money from the event will be used for the troop's trip to Long Schooner Lake in Plevina, Ontario, in Canada this summer.

Those who wish to donate items for the silent auction can contact call Assistant Scoutmaster Terry Hyde at 330-863-1530 or Scoutmaster E.J. Hole at 330-324-3809.
