The American Red Cross said its Minerva blood drive held Feb. 3 at the First Christian Church was "success."
"Thank you to all who took the time to come in the doors," said drive volunteer co-coordinator Jo D. Unkefer. "The blood drive was a success, even with a lot of illnesses going around this winter."
There were 30 regular units and two donors donating double red, totaling 34 units of blood.
Meeting milestones this drive were: Denny Buccini, five gallons; Ray Duell, five gallons, and Jim Cogan, nine gallons, all of Minerva.
Cookies in the canteen were donated by the ladies of Faith Fellowship Church in East Rochester.
The next blood drive is set for Friday, March 31, noon-6 p.m., at Minerva First Christian Church.
