Paris Twp. accepting bids for fire vehicles

Paris Township trustees approved at their March 6 meeting a variety of actions regarding fire equipment.

In response to a request from Sandy Creek Joint Fire District Chief Aaron Stoller, the board approved a sublease of the township's fire engine to Osnaburg Township.

Trustees also approved a service contract of $110 with Warren Fire Equipment for fire extinguishers.

The board formally approved legislation to accept sealed bids for a fire engine and tanker truck from the former Robertsville Fire Department.

ANNOUNED that the township's cleanup day events will be April 21 and 22.

HEARD Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick report that Telpahak Streed needed repairs near Woodale.

APPROVED the cutting back of trees on Baywood Street by Mike's Tree Service.

HEARD Board Chairman Michael Stewart report that he met with the Stark County Engineer's Office concerning drainage problems along Whitacre Avenue. Stewart said the county planned to conduct surveying for the drainage ditch along the roadway.

PAID bills totaling $35,891.
