Children bounded across Minerva's Municipal Park in search of colorful eggs filled with treats during the village's annual Easter egg hunt on April 15.
About 80 families participated in the event, which is open to children in three age categories: 0-3, 4-6, and 7-9.
Children received candy as well as free books. Those who found glitter eggs received plush toy prizes.
Two children in each of the age categories found the winning eggs and received toys. They were (back, from left) Aiden Atkins, 11 months, with mom Bobbi; Aubrey White, one-and-a-half, with mom Heather; (front) Aiden Perrin, 9; Porshe Buchman, 9; Ameliah Connolly, 5; and Alexa Sickafoose, 5, with mom Cherri.
The event was sponsored by the Great Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
