Eight staff members recently retired from Brown Local Schools, and were recognized for their many years of service during the May Board of Education meeting.

Recently retired are Connie Griffin with 38 years in education. For many of those years, Mrs. Griffin served as Superintendent of Brown Local Schools. Ray Bobo served as custodian for 38 years and Roxanne Thompson served as custodian for 25 years. Ray Frazier served as bus driver for 25 years. Deborah Eckinger served as the Guidance Counselor for 29 and a half years. Ted Majestic retired after 31 and a half years of teaching High School Math, Anna Anderson taught Music for 35 years, and Barbara Rossetti taught Art for 29 years.

Combined these eight staff members have served in education for 251 years. The School Board and administrators are incredibly thankful for their dedication to our students, and we wish them all a happy retirement. They will surely be missed in our building next year.
