Carroll County Job and Family Services is sending the message "Fraud Costs All of Us".
It is the goal of the agency to investigate every report of suspected fraud. Each report is evaluated to determine if the customer is eligible for the program benefits they received based on the federal and state guidelines of eligibility. When a customer received improper benefits, we pursue collection for the funds and file criminal charges through the Carroll County courts when applicable.

Individuals who commit fraud are removed from the program and must repay all improperly obtained benefits. They may face criminal charges as well as jail time.
