The March 4 meeting of the Lunch Bunch took place at Classic 57 in Minerva. Ruth Weaver of Minerva asked the blessing for the 30 present, some wearing green for St. Patrick's Day.
Shirley Brigham of Carrollton, who arranges the monthly get-togethers, asked everyone to join in singing "Happy Birthday" to Frances Shearer, Martha Cogan, and Jean willis, who were present and will be a year older this month. Humorous articles were read by Glenna Blevins and Martha Cogan of Minerva.
The group will travel to Carrollton on April 1, 1 p.m. for lunch at Ponderosa (that is no April Fools joke).
