The parents of Ashley Scott and Christopher Hansard wish to announce their children's engagement.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Minerva High School. She attended Kent State University and Akron University, graduating in 2005 and 2008 respectively. She is currently employed by Berea Children's Home in Cleveland.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Jackson High School. He is currently employed at Swensons Drive-in Restaurant in Jackson Township.
The couple are planning a June 26 wedding.
