Minerva Class of 1946 holds 64th class reunion

THe Minerva High School Class of 1946 held its 64th class reunion Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Minerva Senior Center.

Eighteen classmates attended the event, which included a Swiss steak dinner. Jake Tarbet served as master of ceremonies. Gerald Grimes of the Minerva Historical Society provided the program.

Five classmates were recognized in memorial. They were Kenneth Wallace, Thelma Bell, Dick Walker, Juanita (Miller) Hannen and Bill Brown.

Those attending the reunion included (front, from left) Joyce (Heath) Chapman, Don Bashaw and Jeanette (Davison) Elliott; (second row) Elizabeth (Haynam) McLoney, Delores (Wallace) Rookk, Wilma (Hawkins) Snyder, Margie (Bush) Edwards, Hazel (Walter) Bashaw, Dorothy (Shields) Birney, Shirley (Simmons) Schmidt, Shirley (Anthony) Walter and Jake Tarbet; (back) Marvin Lautzenheiser, Leroy Kibler, Rolland Wolf and Lois (Milbaugh) Porinchak.

Not pictured were Jack Hudson and Marilyn (Walker) Midcap.
