Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Minerva, will hold its 12th annual "Car Show with a Purpose" on Sunday, Sept. 12, beginning with registration at 9 a.m.
Over the years, the event has grown to be Mt. Zion's biggest outreach, with up to 125 registered vehicles, including tractors, motorcycles and four wheelers, and several hundred people enjoying the day.
Live gospel music will be provided throughout the day, featuring Best Friends and Linda Weber.
Pastor Mark Thomas will deliver a short meditation and welcome beginning at 9:30 a.m. Dash plaques and trophies will be awarded and food will be available.
