The Minerva Kiwanis Club's Haunted Spooky Trail is celebrating its 10th anniversary of providing scares to the brave souls who visit.
Ghouls, demons and psychopaths lie in wait for the courageous, or foolhardy, at this year's Haunted Spooky Trail, and the Minerva Kiwanis Club and Minerva High School Key Club challenge everyone to come, if they dare.
This year, club members have added new sites and more animatronics, as well as re-arranging their existing scares.
For the little ones, a blow-up haunted castle will provide some excitement.
The club members will continue to feed visitors' desire for scares, as well as their stomachs with sloppy joes, hot dogs and coneys.
Preparing to scare are (from left) Kevin Cumpson, Dylan Ossler, Shelly Rocco, Anthony Rocco and Ron Rocco.
Key Club members or anyone else who would like to help the Kiwanis club scare visitors should call 330-868-3195.
The Haunted Spooky Trail will be open Fridays and Saturdays, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29, at 3740 Whitacre Ave. SE, Minerva.
A "little fright time," which is not so scary, will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at a cost of $3. This trail may be guided or unguided.
For the brave, the scary trail starts at 8 p.m. at a cost of $8.
