Apple, cherry, berry, or any kind of cream pies will be judged at 3:30 pm Saturday Sept. 22 at the Minerva Oktoberfest, in front of Rinkes Nationwide Insurance.
Pies must be registered by 3:15 pm. First, second and third places will receive ribbons.
The overall Best of Show will also receive a trophy.
Only one pie can be entered by a contestant and only the first five pies in each category will be accepted.
If a category is full you will still be able to enter another, until all 20 spaces are filled.
Pies will be sold by the slice after the contest with proceeds going to the Octoberfest fund for next year.
Professional bakers will not be permitted to compete.
