The Minerva high school and middle school cheerleaders recently competed at the Northeastern Buckeye Conference Championships.

The middle-school girls won the league title, while the junior varsity, freshman, varsity and competition teams placed second.

The competition squad competed at the Ohio State Cheerleading Competition, finishing third behind the Division I reigning state champions.

Regionals took place Feb. 11 at Marlington High School. The competition team and the hip-hop squad both performed well, qualifying to the state championships March 4-5 in Columbus.
