Div. II MV Bowler is Minerva's Megan Keister

The Minerva girls bowling program, the fifth best team in Division II, was honored recently at its season-ending banquet.

The Lady Lions won sectional and district championships, and qualified to the state championships, where they placed fifth.

Receiving the Minerva Scholar Athlete Award are Carsen Albert, Katlyn Smalley, Hannah Hawes, Megan Keister, Carly Koontz and Skylar Timmerman.

Junior Katlyn Smalley received her third varsity, and second-year letter winners are senior Hannah Rodgers and junior Carsen Albert.

Earning their first varsity letter are freshman Hannah Hawes, Megan Keister, Carly Koontz and Skylar Timmerman.

Freshman Nicole Pittson received a reserve award.

Megan Keister was selected as the American Division's Bowler of the Year. Joining her on the first team is Katlyn Smalley. Second-team honors went to Hannah Rodgers, Carsen Albert and Skylar Timmerman.

Katlyn Smalley was selected to play in the East-West All-Star Match.
