A huge rally in the bottom of the seventh proved to be the difference as the Lady Hornets posted a come-from-behind victory over visiting Conotton Valley, 7-6.
Trailing 6-2 entering the seventh, Macy Zeiger started the rally with a one-out single to left. She scored on a double by Kenzie Haidet.
Haidet stole third, and scored on a ground out.
Down to its final out and trailing by two, Danielle Casler doubled to right. Caitlin Wade followed with an RBI double, plating Casler.
Wade stole third, and scored as Jessika Venoy reached base on an error.
With the go-ahead run sitting at second base, Jordan Holmes reached on a throwing error, allowing Venoy to score the winning run.
Haidet finished with two RBIs and a run scored, and Zeiger had two hits and three runs scored.
Paige Elder earned the win, allowing six runs, three earned, on 12 hits in seven innings of work. The senior struck out six and did not walk a batter.

The Lady Cardinals scored three times in the first inning and seven times in the second in a game shorted to five innings.
Elder and Wade each had RBI singles, Zeiger went 1-for-2 with a run scored, and Hanna Harsha stole a base and scored a run.
Elder pitched all five innings, giving up 13 runs, 11 earned, on 13 hits.
The Lady Hornets will host Strasburg on Monday, April 10; and travel to Hiland on Tuesday, April 11, and to East Canton on Wednesday, April 12.
