Markins records three firsts

1rkins won three events during Minerva's 61-53 loss to Salem.

Markins recorded firsts in the 100, 400 and long jump.

Also winning were Liam Billiter in the 110 hurdles and 200 hurdles, and J.J. Johns in the high jump.

Seconds went to Chance Martineau in the high jump and 100, Simon Williams in the long jump, Melvin Fankhauser in the shot, Jack Hearn in the 200, and Johns in the 400.

Placing third were Trevor Slider in the 800 and Tylor Reaks in the 100.

Girls Track

The Lady Lions were beaten by Salem 64-50.

Firsts went to Halli Ford in the 200 and 400, McKenna Nign in the 100 hurdles, Abby Wheeler in the high jump, and Alana Howell in the long jump.

Finishing second were Ford in the 100, Jenna Cassidy in the 1600, Sarah Law in the 200 hurdles, Kayla Phillips in the high jump, Kayla Jackson in the high jump, Savannah Wilks in the shot, and Morgan Stout in the discus.

Placing third were Sarah Law in the 100 hurdles, Wilks in the discus, and Stout in the shot.
