Kelsi Hulit, Laura Rodgers and Zoe Moser won multiple events for Malvern during a triangular meet with Hiland and Ridgewood.
Hulit broke her own school record in the shot with a winning throw of 138'.5. She also finished first in the shot (37'5.5).
Rodgers placed first in the 800 (2:58.9) and 3200 (15:16.65), and finished second in the 1600 (6:24.5).
Moser captured the 100 (12.6) and 200 (27.3).
Hulit and Moser were also members of the winning 4x100 (54.6) along with Lauren Foster and Vanessa Stanbro.
Seconds went to Foster in the 400 (1:07.05) and 200 (29.31); and the 4x400 (5:22.6) consisting of Kara Lawrence, Stanbro, Makayla Bowe and Jazmariah Moore.
Finishing third were the 4x200 (2:02.81) consisting of Moser, Lawrence, Bowe and Moore; Foster in the long jump (13'10.5); the 4x800 (13:07.56) consisting of Rodgers, Gabby Lawrence, Breawna Gillogly and Bowe; and K. Lawrence in the 300 hurdles (57.59).
Placing fourth were Moore in the high jump (3'8) and K. Lawrence in the 110 hurdles (22.43).
"We were very happy with how the team competed today," stated Head Coach Jeremy Maher. "Kelsi had some huge throws and personal bests in the shot put and discus. Zoe continues to excel in the sprints, and Laura Rodgers really stepped up in the distance races.
"The 4x100 remained undefeated in league meets, and Lauren Foster had personal bests in the 400 and long jump."
The Lady Hornets finished seventh out of 12 teams at the Larry Cogan Invitational, held in Carrollton.
Hulit set the meet and school record in the discus with a winning throw of 139'2. She also broke the school record in the shot, placing second with a heave of 38'8.
Moser captured the 100 with a time of 12.59, and finished second in the 200 in 26.38.
Moser and Hulit were also members of the fifth-place 4x100 (54.17) along with Stanbro and Foster.
Foster was fourth in the 200 (28.48) and sixth in the long jump (14'7); and the 4x800 consisting of Rodgers, Gillogly, Makayla and G. Lawrence finished eighth with a time of 12:54.6.
"This is a very competitive meet and we were extremely proud of how the girls represented Malvern," stated Coach Maher. "Kelsi threw for two school records in the shot and discus and broke her own meet record for the discus from last year. She was also selected as the Field Event MVP.
"Zoe Moser and Lauren Foster stepped up in big spots tonight. Zoe won the 100 and was second in the 200 against amazing competition, and Lauren placed in the long jump with a personal best of 14'7 and in the 200."
The boys finished third at the Hiland/Ridgewood triangular.
Brandon Patterson recorded two firsts on the day - winning the 1600 in 4:48.84, and the 3200 in 10:29.15.
Alex Butler was second in the discus (116'11) and third in the shot (37'9.5); and fourths went to Casey Crowl in the high jump (5'), Andrew Norton in the 400 (1:00), and Ike Moser in the 800 (2:23.9) and 1600 (5:35.7).
"We had some great personal records once again from Brandon Patterson and a solid team effort," noted Head Coach Seth Goshorn. "The score doesn't show how hard these kids worked this week, however, the times they ran are a lot of personal bests and we will try to build on them moving forward."
At the Larry Cogan Invitational, Brandon Patterson finished seventh in the 1600 with a time of 4:46.86.
Malvern will compete in the Columbiana Invitational this Saturday, May 6.
