Wright did not allow a run as he improved to 5-0. The junior struck out five and walked three.
The Lions scored a run in the third as Dan Common singled to right and later scored on a Dakota Romano base hit.
An inning later, Evan Hertel and Jake Stewart drew back-to-back walks, and Wright followed with a single to center, driving in Hertel.
With the win, Minerva set a school record for victories in a season with 15.

Three days later, the Lions improved to 16-5 overall and 10-2 in league play with a five-inning win.
Dominic Slentz kept the Marlington batters off balance the entire night, allowing just three hits and one walk, while striking out two.
Hanley led the 13-hit attack as he went 1-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Slentz singled twice, doubled, drove in two and scored two runs; Hertel had two hits, two runs and two RBIs; Jake Stewart singled twice and drove in two; and Wright and Shane Walters each scored a pair of runs.
