The Augusta Township Volunteer Fire Department is preparing for its annual strawberry festival. This year, the festival will run June 10-12.
On Thursday, June 10, the scales for the tractor pull open at 5:30 p.m. and the pull starts at 6:30 p.m. Pulls in the 4,500-pound, 5,500-pound, 6,500-pound and 7,500-pound classes will take place on this first evening.
The parade will take place on Friday evening at 7 p.m. All floats and participants in the parade should line up north of the village on Route 9.
The Friday night tractor pull will include the 10,500-pound, 12,500-pound and 14,000-pound classes. Scales will open at 6:30 p.m. and the pulling begins at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the Ohio Mod Rod Pullers will present the garden-tractor and ATV pull at 4 p.m.
