The Scio United Methodist Church will hold its 20th annual Bethlehem Walk on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1-2, 7-9:30 p.m.
The outdoor production re-enacts the "little town of Bethlehem" on the night of Christ's birth.
The production is sponsored by community churches and approximately 150 people are involved as cast and crew.
Visitors will begin their journey in the church sanctuary where they will meet their first-century guide.
Visitors are then led through ancient times, from the sheep's pastures surrounding the town to the tax tent, two inns, a marketplace, King Herod's palace, a synagogue, and finally the stable where the newborn Jesus is asleep in the manager.
Roman soldiers on foot and horseback, a Roman chariot, merchants hawking their wares, and many animals complete the town. Tours take approximately 30 minutes.
The event is free, but donations are accepted to help with expenses.
