On Nov. 7, Carroll County 4-H held its annual Best of 4-H Night to recognize those who achieved great things in 4-H throughout the year.
Award winners where recognized in the areas of Outstanding Treasurer's Book, Outstanding Secretary's Book, Honor Club, Honor Member, Achievement Awards, Volunteers years of Service Award, and Finally our Friend of 4-H Award.
The Augusta Ranchers and New Horizons 4-H Clubs, Received Outstanding Treasurer's and Outstanding Secretary's Book Awards. Augusta Ranchers, Freshman 4-Her's New Horizons, Kangaroo Krew, Brown Frame Round-up, and Snoopy's Friend 4-H Clubs Received Honor Club Awards.
Ninety Members of Carroll County 4-H were recognized as honor members ranging from first year to tenth year honor members. Annabel Vernier, Brittany Rohr, and Kasandra Stack where recognized as ninth year honor members. Wilbur Weaver and Nancy Sheckler were Recognized As 10th year honor members.
Sixteen members were recognized as achievement award winners for their project areas in livestock, photography, food and nutrition, clothing and textiles, gardening, wood working, community service, leadership, and industrial arts.
Fifty-four club volunteers were recognized for their years of service.
Barb Folk received the gold clover service awards for 51 years as a Carroll County 4-H Club Volunteer.
Cheryl Jones and Deborah Eick received Ruby Clover awards for 30 years of service as 4-H club volunteers.
