On Dec. 13, 3-6 p.m., the Carroll Soil and Water Conservation District, USDA's Natural Resource Conservation Service, OSU Extension and the Division of Forestry will be hosting an open house at 613 N. High St. Carrollton.
Everyone is welcome. There will be information for adults and students.
The group would like to meet anyone interested in the environment, natural resources, 4-H or conservation.
They have information on their stream monitoring program, whole farm planning, the "4Rs" which is nutrient management and also backyard conservation.
The office is also a drop point for "Coats for Kids". Donations of new or gently used coats will be distributed to local families in need.
Light refreshments will be served.
