The First Christian Church of Malvern Adult Praise Choir, Adult Praise Ensemble, and Drama Team will present the 2008 Easter pageant entitled, "God The Restorer."
"God The Restorer" will be presented Good Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m. and Easter Sunday, March 23, at 10:15 a.m. at First Christian Church of Malvern, 4046 Coral Road, Malvern.
This year's presentation will tell the amazing story of God's love to mankind with fact and fiction. It will be told through the eyes of two angels assigned to accompany Jesus.
Demas (one of the angels) cannot understand why God would allow His Son to come to this earth only to suffer and die. Aquila (another angel) gently leads Demas through the plan of God.
This year's pageant not only demonstrates to us the amazing story of Jesus but it also teaches us a lesson in submitting to the plan of God in our own lives. It is presented through the media of drama and music and deaf interpretation is available.
"God The Restorer" is written and directed by Mark Black, worship and music director of First Christian Church of Malvern. You will be drawn to worship the King of kings and Lord of lords.
