Clyde Ronald Pinkerton, Sr.April 16, 2008
Clyde Ronald Pinkerton, Sr., passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. Born June 9, 1930, in Minerva, he graduated from Minerva High School in 1948. Ron was a retired member of the St. Petersburg Fire Department and a member of International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 0747; a member of the Moose Lodge 1147, a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, since 1995, also a member of the Genealogy Society. Ron enjoyed fishing, camping, genealogy, doing magic for family and friends, plus spending time with those he loved. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Betty Jo; a son, Clyde Ronald (Ron) Jr. and his wife Valerie; four daughters, Darla J. Stellings and Tina J., all of St. Petersburg, Fla., Deanna (Dee) J. Aldridge, of Malvern, and Denise J. Schneider and her husband, James, of Canton; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Judy Griffiths, of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys (Tommy) Harsh-Farber, Robert Farber; his brother, Robert Jr.; his daughters, Debra Jo Jackson, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Anitha C. Broud, of Sydney, Ohio. A memorial service was held at Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Friday, April 11.
