Minerva Curves collects food for food pantryApril 23, 2008
Curves, the 30-minute fitness and weight-loss center in Minerva, collected more than 1,000 pounds of food and paper products during its collection in March. As part of its "Curves Food Drive," women who join Curves during March are able to have the usual service fee, valued at $149, waived by donating a bag of groceries. As well, people were able to drop off non-perishable food items at Curves. Locally, the food drive benefits the Minerva-Malvern Area Salvation Army Food Pantry. Holding some of the donations are (from left) Curves owner Susan Swain and circuit coach Margret Fry. Curves is a 30-minute workout and common-sense, weight-loss program, with the support needed to do both. Curves in Minerva, located at 1178 Alliance Road, will be celebrating its fourth anniversary at the end of April. Curves may be reached at 330-868-0367. Comments
