Richard Hahn

Richard A. Hahn, age 73, of Canton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Malvern, Ohio, on Sept.27, 1934, to the late Charles and Frieda Hahn.

Richard retired from Georgia Pacific Company in 1992, following 34 years of employment. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple and the VFW. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, traveling and football. He will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, Roslyn and Timothy Harper, of Canton, and Rosetta and Curtis Rodgers, of Carrollton; five grandchildren, Brittnee and Brandon Hahn, and Nicholas, Dillon and Grace Harper; brother, Jerry Hahn, of Minerva, and sister, Betty Chance, of East Rochester, Ohio.

Funeral service were held Saturday, April 19, in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with the Rev. Michael Adkins officiating. Burial followed in Liberty Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in his name, to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
