CANTON - A diamond necklace, premium tickets for Indians, Cavaliers and Buckeyes sporting events, beach trips, golf packages, dinner parties, a legislative package touring the State House and even a "presidential puppy" will be on the bidding block to raise funds in support of the second annual Canton Palace Theatre Premier Night fundraiser on Friday, May 9, at 6 p.m., at the McKinley Grand Hotel.

Tickets for this fun, star-studded, red-carpet experience are $75 each and are available online at www.cantonpalacetheatre.org. The dinner auction will pay tribute to the financial support of Jack Fisher, who will receive the second annual Palace Lifetime Achievement Award.

"We have so many fabulous sponsors and donors who are going to help make this May 9 event a success," said auction General Chairperson Meredith Smith, vice president Private Client Group of Fifth Third Bank NE. "There are donations of all shapes and sizes so I encourage everyone to come, bid, enjoy themselves and support this local community gem we are so fortunate to have in our city." Smith also serves as a board member for the Palace Theatre.

More information on specific auction items and event programming are online at www.cantonpalacetheatre.org.
