The Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association announced the appointment of John D. Ferrero, Stark County Prosecutor, to the Executive Committee and Amicus Committee.

The Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association was established in 1937 by Ohio's 88 county prosecuting attorneys and their assistants. The organization is a statewide network of Ohio prosecutors formed to share information, educate and train its members and review legislative issues. The goals of the association are to provide continuous training for prosecutors and staff on state and federal laws, as well as ethics and professionalism; to share information on best practices in policies and procedures; and to give input to the state legislature in matters of new or amended legislation.

2008 OPAA President, Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman, stated: "The association is fortunate to have the benefit of the intelligence and insight of John D. Ferrero in our association and to have his talent and experience available to assist the association to accomplish its goals and objectives."
