State Representative Allan R. Sayre represents the 96th House District, which includes Harrison County and parts of Tuscarawas and Belmont counties. He is in his second term in the Ohio Legislature.

State Representative Sayre has been assigned to the following House committees: Agriculture and Natural Resources; Public Utilities; Financial Institutions, Real Estate, and Securities; and has taken a leadership role as ranking member of Infrastructure, Homeland Securities, and Veteran Affairs. In addition, Sayre was appointed to the following commissions: the Ohio Transportation Task Force; the Ohio Fatherhood Commission; and the Ohio Household Sewage and Small Flow On-Site Sewage Treatment System Study Commission.

Taking great pride in community involvement and family values, State Representative Sayre is very engaged in the 96th Ohio House district. Sayre is involved in Kiwanis, previously serving as president in the organization. Along with Kiwanis, State Representative Sayre contributes his time in Big Brother/Big Sister, formally serving as a board member. State Representative Sayre also is involved in the Elks, the Farm Bureau, the Dover Historical Society, and has numerous local school levies. As lifelong member of the Tuscarawas community, Sayre believes that strong community participation and a spirit of volunteerism will in return have a profound and positive impact on the community.

Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Hopedale VFD Social Hall, 103 Firehouse Lane (off E. Main St.), Hopedale, Ohio. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. with an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner of fried chicken, beef, mashed potatoes, noodles, veggies, salad, desert and beverages.

The auctioneer this year is Bill Host, from Bowerston, and they hope to have some lively bidding during the evening. There will be a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, general sales table, and more.
